The Introductory chapter is Introduction. It is 30Kb zipped, and unzips to 103Kb.

This month you can download the section called Perspectives & Polemics.

It is 32Kb zipped, and unzips to 92Kb.
It is a self-contained section from the middle of the book.

It includes several thought provoking chapters, including ones on the differences between jazz and Western European Art Music (WEAM), the myth that jazz has very much to do with harmony at all, a history of jazz, the injustices of the way copyright law is applied to jazz musicians, and irrefutable proof that so far from being difficult, Cherokee is the easiest tune in the repertoire.
